霧隠才蔵 (パテベビー版) [Saizo Kirigakure (Pathe-Baby version)]
Film Synopsis
As the 4th instalment of “Adopt a Film” project by Film Preservation Society, this film was discovered by Raiko Sakamoto, a popular benshi (silent film narrator) in Tokyo, on an internet auction site. The tentative title (hand written on the Pathe-Baby’s bobbin) “Saizo Kirigakure” is a famous ninja character and many trick films were made featuring this character in both the silent and talkie eras.
